Tallship Soren Larsen at Pitcairn 

Thursday 13th May. The Soren Larsen, a 145 foot (44.2 m) tall ship arrived at Pitcairn last Monday. 

The beautifully restored wooden "tallship" built around 1948/49 and a star in the classic BBC television series The Onedin Line is on a round the Pacific cruise and stopped at Pitcairn for four days. 

Although the weather was generally good for the visit the ship left in a notorious northwesterly storm, but by mid-afternoorn the wind had shifted to the south east providing fair winds for French Polynesia.
